New York Fashion Week? Yeah, we didn’t make it.

Turns out, our favorite runway has a little more dirt on it.

This September, The Base Camp and our Bozeman-based friends at Oboz are leaning all the way into being somewhere else. Somewhere with switchbacks instead of spotlights, trekking poles instead of designer bags, and hiking boots that look better with a few miles of dirt on them.

It’s part of Oboz’s We Didn’t Make It to Fashion Week campaign—a celebration of the no-nonsense, function-first hikers who would rather be walking trails than runways. Or, as Oboz puts it, they’re just “hiking our own hike.”

And on Friday, September 10, we’re bringing the anti-Fashion Week party to The Base Camp.

Walk the Oboz Red Carpet

We’ll have our very own Oboz red carpet and photo backdrop set up in-store. But forget the fancy clothes—we want to see your best trail-to-store look.

Think dirty Oboz. Muddy pants. Trekking poles. Sweat-stained hat. Backpack still packed. That I just spent three days in the backcountry and came directly here energy.

Come dressed for the trail, strike your best red-carpet pose, and you might just take home our special award for the Best Trail-to-Store Look.

Because couture is cool. But have you ever found a really good trail with no cell service?
