May 23, 2019

7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Love the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness and want to give back? Have great people skills? Come to our Trail Ambassador Volunteer Clinic and learn how to defend our trails! We’ll discuss the seven principles of Leave No Trace, the history of the A-B, and teach you how to use the Authority of the Resource to talk to trail users. Our Trail Ambassadors volunteer for three hour shifts at heavily used trail heads, chatting with Custer Gallatin National Forest visitors and handing out essentials like trowels and dog poop bags. While we would love for you to volunteer, this clinic is open to anyone who is curious about these topics!
