Join us for a free evening at The Base Camp to learn how to confidently plan and pack for overnight stays in the wilderness. Whether you’re brand new to backpacking or looking to refine your system, this clinic will walk through the essentials you need to get started.
Corinne will cover key gear and preparation topics including tent and tarp options, clothing and layering systems, and how to properly pack a backpack for comfort and efficiency on the trail. We’ll also discuss backpacking etiquette, traveling in groups or with children, and how to choose the right destinations—from great beginner-friendly overnights to more challenging routes as your skills grow.
Participants will receive a helpful packing list that includes both must-have essentials and “nice-to-have” items that can make time in the backcountry more enjoyable.
After the clinic, The Base Camp team will be available for backpack fittings and questions, and attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy exclusive after-hours shopping on their favorite backpacking gear.
Whether you’re planning your first overnight adventure or looking to upgrade your setup, this clinic is a great way to build confidence and get trail-ready.
